The Pāpāmoa Counselling and Wellbeing Centre, an initiative of the Golden Sands Community Trust, is a welcoming space where individuals, couples, families, and groups can access professional, confidential support for their mental health and wellbeing. Located at 'The Community Hub' at 42 Piata Street, we’ve created a calm and safe environment designed to help people feel comfortable and cared for.

We partner with qualified counsellors who share our commitment to community wellbeing, dignity, and inclusion. Our model empowers counsellors to manage their own practice while keeping services affordable, with additional support available through a sliding scale model and the 'Local Subsidy Fund' for clients in financial need.

Together, we are building a connected, thriving community where mental health support is within reach for everyone.
